The segment was originally aired as part of The WB 's New Year's Eve Bash"The New Year's Party Tonight" . As such, that version of the song had the lyrics redubbed as "the New Year's party tonight" in place of "the big wrap party tonight."

In the cartoon, Wakko hungers food out of the truck, like he did in the theme song 's intro.
