Captain Ahab is the captain of Pequod from Herman Melville's "Moby Dick".
His main motivation is to kill the white whale known as Moby Dick.

Sherlock Holmes[]
Sherlock Holmes is the title character of the series created by Arthur Conan Doyle.
He appeared in Deduces Wild when both he and Watson were trying to figure out where his nemesis Mariachi (a parody of Moriarty) was going to strike next. They were then bothered by the Warners when they're trying to get his help for their scavenger hunt.
Holmes wanted to focus on Mariachi's next target, but was being pestered by the Warners' antics. Unwillingly, he decided to help them and discovered that the items were the same ones Mariachi's been stealing. He discovered that Watson was being kidnapped by Mariachi's hands. Holmes and the Warner ultimately rescued him and arrested Mariachi.

The Gatekeeper[]
The Gatekeeper is a character from MGM's "The Wizard of Oz", portrayed by Frank Morgan.
He appeared in Buttons in Ows when Mindy first visited Oz, only to tell her go away since no one is allowed to visit the Wizard.
What is interesting is that the character is mixture of the two characters, the Guard and the Doorman, whom they're played by Frank Morgan.
Yakko once played this character in Hooked on a Ceiling.

- According to Rob Paulsen, he was good friends with Matthew Perry as they were in the same hockey team. Perry himself is a fan of Animaniacs and wanted to voiced his character from the show. Unfortunately, he wasn't available due to his working hours on "Friends".
- In the Japanese dub of "Friends", Yu Mizushima does the voiceover for Chandler Bing. He also does Wakko Warner from the show.

The Hatter[]
The Hatter (better known as the Mad Hatter) is a character from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". He is usually best known for having tea parties with the March Hare.
The Hatter appeared in Mindy in Wonderland when he was having a tea party by himself when Mindy and Buttons interrupted, and was destroyed. He decides they should have instead espresso. He threw Mindy in the Espresso Machine, only to be saved by Buttons.
He speaks in rhyme and has the same voice impression as the Mad Hatter from Disney's adaption from 1951.

Cheshire Cat[]
The Cheshire Cat is a character from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". He is mostly famous for his smile.
The cat appeared in Mindy in Wonderland, and is depicted as female. She stopped Mindy while she was chasing the White Rabbit. She liked being petted by Mindy, only to get her tail stepped on by Buttons, and attacked him.
Like other depictions of the character, the Cat can appear and disappear. She has the same color scheme as the one from Disney's adaption from 1951.
Also, like the Mad Hatter from the episode, she speaks in rhyme.

- The Cheshire Cat in the show is similar to Rita, as the almost share the same design, and the same actress. So it's unknown if it's actually Rita, or just an entirely different character.
The Queen of Hearts[]
The Queen of Hearts is a character from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". She is the foul-tempered tyrant of the land. She is often be confused with the Red Queen, a character from the sequel "Through the Looking-Glass".
She appeared in Mindy in Wonderland when Mindy interrupted her game.
