Synopsis

Thaddeus Plotz hires the Warners to stop Mr. Director from making his next film as he has gone insane and overbudget.
Trivia
Edit
- This cartoon is a parody of the documentary Hearts of Darkness, which chronicled the making of the movie Apocalypse Now, which is also parodied.
- Mr. Director appears to be fat and bald, and wearing a purple suit like Marlon Brando in the movie in this cartoon only.
- When Yakko supposes that there could be a trap around the soundstage and he is proven right, Dot says, "Thank you, Amazing Kreskin." The Amazing Kreskin is a famous mentalist.
- Throughout the cartoon, a song indicates the beginning, middle and ending of the story. This is a parody of the song "The End" by the Doors, who did much of the music for Apocalypse Now. In the end, the Warners accidentally run over Jim Morrison, the late lead singer of the Doors.
