Chalkboard Bungle (406-613)

Story by Tom Ruegger & Paul Rugg
Written by Paul Rugg
Directed by Rusty Mills

The Warner Bros. studio gets a new strict schoolteacher named Miss Flamiel, whom the Warners cannot help but torment.

  • Two of the rules are hypocritical because two of the rules are "No shoes" and "No shirts", and Wakko is still wearing his shirt (but Miss Flamiel isn't reminding him of it) and Miss Flamiel is still wearing her shoes.
  • Rules list: No talking, no popcorn, no guitar playing, no laughing, no lawnmowing, no squirming, no pickles, no gum chewing, no cooking, no drawing, no guts, no singing, no skydiving, no moving, no yawning, no ducks, no smiling, no swimming, no shirt, no shoes, no blah, blah, blah, blah, no rock and roll, no playing, no vermicelli, no juice, no tv watching, no visitors, no dogs allowed, no camping, no use, no salamanders, no running, no walking, no yelling, no raucousness, no hopping, no stopping, no parking, no fishing, no snorkels, no smoking, no rainchecks, no square dancing, no service, no no no, no anything! Of these, 22 were broken in the episode, and 14 were broken by Miss Flamiel herself.

Hurray for Slappy (406-713)

Written by John P. McCann
Directed by Rusty Mills

Slappy Squirrel and Skippy Squirrel attend an award ceremony in her honor, but, unbeknownst to her, her old archrivals Walter Wolf, Sid the Squid and Beanie the Brain-Dead Bison are all in attendance to sabotage the ceremony.

  • First appearances of Sid the Squid and Beanie the Brain-Dead Bison, who were first mentioned by Slappy in Slappy Goes Walnuts. The two were voiced by the legendary comedy duo of Burns & Schreiber.
  • The Warners make a cameo running on the tables.
  • One of the headlines of the Hollywood Schmooze says, "Elvis Lives! Lives in Water Tower with Yakko, Wakko & Dot!"
  • This is the only cartoon where Frank Welker voices Walter Wolf. After this he would be voiced by Jess Harnell.

Slappy: [to Beanie] You remind me of a very young Betty Boop.
Slappy: I'm going into a coma! Uh-oh, too late, I'm in a coma!
